From Marco Presta’s novel
Adaptated and directed by Massimo Maraviglia
With Giancarlo Cosentino,
Cristina Aubry, Mario Migliaccio

It’s the story of a former carpenter, well known as “The Old Man”, who  decides to leave his art and his tools to a young apprentice. The boy withstands “The Old Man” ruthless soliloquies, usually about Armando the Pizzicagnolo, “the oracle of the stracchino”. Armando, a “crazy old man” , has formulated a quite strange plan: he wants to look for two young people who fit for a love story. Through the words of “The Old Man”, we see Armando wandering around for shops, streets, bars, until he finds the two guys fit for his plan: Giacomo and Chiara. She is a saleslady, he is unemployed. As a sort of secret agent, Armando spends its time and savings to make sure that the two young guys met. All with the complicity of The Old Man.
