SYNOPSIS

Silvia Giulietti, with Barbara Iannarilli and Giuseppe Galeone, embarked on this voyage collecting hours of the angels’ stories, Luchino Visconti´s cinema collaborators. Watching the documentary, we are involved in the personal and artistic events of this ensemble of workers that made the history of cinema, becoming discrete witnesses of ordinary and memorable moments. The authors let the viewer in the everyday life of Visconti´s set, introducing him to the extraordinary and unrecognized cinema “crafts”, like those of the cameraman, the set photographer and the production organizer. Mario Tursi´s set pictures, chosen between thousand from his archive, connect the hidden tale of the working progress with the artwork through Visconti movies´ frames and the stolen pictures from the set.
