Ortigia Film Festival 2017

The ninth edition of the Siracusa international Ortigia Film Festival will be held from  15 to 22  July 2017. This edition features 82 screenings , amongst which two world premieres, as well as 12 films screened for the very first time. Once again, O.F.F  supports and promotes italian cinema,  focusing in particular on independent and experimental productions.

A jury of professionals in the movie business , nominated by the director and the commettee, will assign the following 2 awards for the Italian Filmmakers’ First and Second Feature Film Competition :

1) OFF Best Film Award
2) OFF Best Actor Award

For the International Short Film Competition will be assigned the Miglio Corto award.
Furthermore, Cinemaitaliano.info, in partnership with Ortigia Film Festival ,will assign 2 awards to the film and the actor of the year “Veramente Indipendente”.
